As part of the WWDC 2022 conference, Apple introduced an updated MacBook Air based on its own M2 chip with MagSafe support and a new design. In the US, the laptop will be available for purchase in July.

Included with the laptop is an updated power supply that provides charging up to 80% in 20 minutes. Also, two devices can be powered from the new power supply at once. With video playback, your MacBook Air will run for 18 hours on battery power.
The laptop is based on the new M2 processor, which Apple also announced as part of WWDC 2022. The device received a 1080p webcam with improved low-light performance, three microphones and four Dolby Atmos speakers. Also, the laptop was equipped with a proprietary Magic Keyboard and a fingerprint scanner.
