A Minecraft player was able to reach the end of the game's generated map. It took him 2,500 hours to do so.

Twitch streamer Mystical Midget began the grand journey to the end of the Minecraft map on January 31, 2021 and completed it in August. In 2,500 hours of playtime, he managed to go 32 million blocks. The process drew many viewers on Twitch, with several thousand people watching the completion of the journey.
When the character reached the edge of the world, the game client began to slow down heavily, after which the character began to fall. The player tried to prolong his life with food, but after a few seconds of flight the character still died.
Mystical Midget reached the edge of the map on day 420, joking that the number was very symbolic. After completing the Challenge, he restarted the game to finally "play normally". A video of the achievement was posted on Twitter by a viewer.
