Samsung introduced “Repair Mode”

Samsung has introduced a new "Repair Mode" feature that hides the user's personal data. v

The company announced a "Repair Mode" feature available in the settings under "Battery and device care". When activated, the device will reboot and hide all personal data, including correspondence, photos, videos, accounts, and so on. In fact, it will be an externally reset gadget, but with some applications installed.

So far, the mode is only available for Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones. Later they promise to add support for other models.

"Repair Mode" is activated in the "Battery and Device Care" section. The smartphone will reboot and hide all personal data, including photos, contacts, accounts, and so on.

As soon as the smartphone returns from repair, the owner just needs to scan his finger or face. The smartphone will reboot again and open access to the data.
