Python | Program for converting a tuple to a string

Examples :

  Input:  (`a`,` b`, `c`,` d`, `e`)  Output:  abcde  Input:  (`g`,` e`, `e`,` k`, `s`)  Output:  geeks

Fit
There are various approaches for converting a tuple to a string.

  • Approach 1: Using str.join ()
    The join () method is a string method and returns a string where the elements of the sequence have been concatenated with the str separator.
    Using join (), we add characters to the tuple and convert it to a string.

    # Python3 code to transform a tuple
    # to line

    def convertTuple (tup):

    str =  ` `.join (tup)

      return str

    # Driver code

    tuple = ( ` g` , `e` ,  `e` , ` k` , `s` )

    str = convertTuple ( tuple )

    print ( str )

    Exit:

     geeks
  • Approach 2: Using the limit () function
    The redu (fun, seq) function is used to apply a specific function passed in its argument, to all elements of the list mentioned in the passed sequence. We pass the add statement to the function to combine the characters of the tuple.

    # Python3 code to convert the tuple
    # to string

    import functools

    import operator

    def convertTuple (tup):

    str = functools. reduce (operator.add, (tup))

    return str

    # Driver code

    tuple = ( `g` , ` e` , `e` , ` k ` , ` s` )

    str = convertTuple ( tuple )

    print ( str )

    Exit:

     geeks
