Python | Pandas dataframe.keys ()

The Pandas dataframe.keys() function returns the "information axis" for a Pandas object. If the pandas object is sequential, then it returns the index. If the pandas object is a dataframe it will return columns. If the pandas object is a pane, it returns major_axis.

Syntax: DataFrame.keys ()

# pandas import as pd

import pandas as pd

 
# Create a data frame

df = pd.read_csv ( "nba.csv" )

 
# Print data frame
df

# find keys dataframe
df.keys ()

# import pandas as pd

import pandas as pd

 
# Create Series

sr = pd .Series ([ 12 , 5 , None , 5 , None , 11 ])

 
# Print series
sr

# to find the index
sr.keys ()
