Python | Numpy matrix.getA ()

NumPy | Python Methods and Functions

Using the Numpy matrix.getA () method, we can get a ndarray of the same size as the given matrix.

Syntax: matrix.getA()

Return: Return ndarray of same size as given matrix

Example # 1:
In this example, we see that we can get a numpy array using the matrix.getA () .

# import important module into python

import numpy as np

# make a matrix with NumPy

gfg = np.matrix ( `[6; 2; 3]` )

# using the matrix.getA method ( )

geeks = gfg.getA ( )

print (geeks)

Exit:

 [[6] [2] [3]]

Example # 2:

# import an important module into python

import numpy as np

# make a matrix with NumPy

gfg = np.matrix ( `[1, 2, 3 ; 4, 5, 6; 7, 8, 9] ` )

# using the matrix.getA () method

geeks = gfg.getA ()

print (geeks)

Exit:

 [[1 2 3] [4 5 6] [7 8 9]]
