PHPunit | AssertDirectoryNotExists () Function

Syntax:
assertDirectoryNotExists (integer $directory, string $message = ``)
Parameters: this function takes two parameters as shown in the above syntax. The parameters are described below:
  • $directory: this parameter is a string that represents the directory path.
  • $message: this parameter takes a string value. When the test case failed, this string message was displayed as an error message.
The following programs illustrate the assertDirectoryNotExists() function in PHPUnit: Program 1: < / b> < tr> use PHPUnitFrameworkTestCase; class GeeksPhpunitTestCase extends TestCase {< / code> public function testNegativeTestcaseForAssertDirectoryNotExists() { $directoryPath = " / home / shivam / Documents / engineer " ; // Assert a function to check if // directory path exists or not $this -> assertDirectoryNotExists ( $directoryPath , "directoryPath exists" ); } }
?>
Output:
PHPUnit 8.2.5 by Sebastian Bergmann and contributors. F 1/1 (100%) Time: 67 ms, Memory: 10.00 MB There was 1 failure: 1) GeeksPhpunitTestCase::testNegativeTestcaseForAssertDirectoryNotExists directoryPath exists Failed asserting that directory "/ home / shivam / Documents / engineer" does not exist. /home/shivam/Documents/engineer/phpunit/abc.php:13 FAILURES! Tests: 1, Assertions: 1, Failures: 1.
Program 2: use PHPUnitFrameworkTestCase; class GeeksPhpunitTestCase extends TestCase {< / code> public function testPositiveTestcaseForAssertDirectoryNotExists() { $directoryPath = " / home / shivam / Documents / engineerDoesNotExist / " ; // Assert a function to check if // directory path exists or not $this -> assertDirectoryNotExists ( $directoryPath , "directoryPath exists" ); } }
?>
Output:
PHPUnit 8.2.5 by Sebastian Bergmann and contributors. ... 1/1 (100%) Time: 67 ms, Memory: 10.00 MB OK (1 test, 1 assertion)
