PHP readfile () function

Syntax:
readfile (filename, include_path, context)
Parameters used:
PHP’s readfile() function takes three parameters.
  • filename:This is a required parameter and specifies the filename.
  • include_path:this is an optional parameter that can be set to 1 if you want to find a file in the include_path in php
  • context:this is an optional parameter that defines stream behavior.
  • Return value:
    Returns the number of bytes read on success or FALSE and an error on error.
    Note:URL can be used as a filename with this function if the fopen wrappers have been enabled. 
    Errors and exceptions
    • Disabling output buffering before calling Readfile() can help read large files into memory.
    Examples :
    Input: echo readfile ("gfg.txt"); Output: A computer portal for engineer! Input: $myfile = @readfile ("gfg.txt"); if (! $myfile) {print "File could not be opened"; } Output: A computer portal for engineer!
