PHP Imagick filter function ()

Syntax:
bool Imagick::filter ($ImagickKernel, $channel = Imagick::CHANNEL_UNDEFINED)
Parameters: This function takes two parameters as above and described below:
  • $ImagickKernel:This is a core or related series from multiple cores which are used to be applicable in the image.
  • $channel:is a constant that is used based on modes. It is of integer type, and the default channel value is - Imagick::CHANNEL_DEFAULT.
Returned value: Returns true when the filter has been successfully applied to the image.The following program illustrates the Imagick::filter() in PHP:Program :  
// Declare the imagick object $imagick = new Imagick ( https://media.engineerforengineer.org/wp-content/uploads/engineerforengineer-9.png );  
// Declare the convolution matrix $matrix = [ [- 1, 0, -1], [0, 5, 0], [- 1, 0, -1], ]; $kernel = ImagickKernel::fromMatrix ( $matrix ); $strength = 0.5;  
// Scale the image on the core $kernel -> scale ( $strength , Imagick::NORMALIZE_KERNEL_VALUE);  
// Using the addUnityKernel() function $kernel -> addUnityKernel (1 - $strength );  
// Use the filter() function $imagick -> filter ( $kernel ); header ( " Content-Type: image / jpg " );  
// Display the output image echo $imagick -> getImageBlob(); ?>
