PHP Getprotobynumber () function

Syntax:
string getprotobynumber (int $protocol_number)
Parameters:This function takes one required parameter, $protocol_number . It specifies the protocol number, for example 6 for TCP, 17 for UDP, etc.Return Value:This function returns the name of the protocol on success and FALSE on error.Note.This function is available for PHP 4.0.0 and later.The following programs illustrate the getprotobynumber() function in PHP:Program 1:This program uses the protocol number for the protocol name "tcp".
