PHP ftp_put () function

Syntax:
ftp_put ($ftp_connection, $remote_file_path, $local_file_path, $mode, $start_position); 
Parameter:This function takes five parameters as above and described below:
  • $ftp_connection:required parameter. It specifies a pre-existing FTP connection used to download the file.
  • $remote_file_path:Required. It points to the path on the remote server, i.e. on the FTP server to which the file is uploaded.
  • $local_file_path:Required. It specifies the path to the file to be uploaded to the FTP server.
  • $mode:required. Indicates the transmission mode. Parameter values ​​- either FTP_ASCII or FTP_BINARY.
  • $start_position:is optional. It specifies the position in the remote file where the download should start.
Return Value:Returns True on success or False on failure.Notes :
  • This function is available in PHP 4.0.0 and above.
  • The following examples cannot be run online. the IDE. So try running PHP on some hosting server or localhost with the correct ftp server name.
