Marshall introduced the Middleton portable Bluetooth speaker with 360-degree sound and IP67 water protection

The Marshall Middleton features a pair of 3-inch, 15-watt woofers and a pair of 10-watt tweeters. The speakers are positioned around the perimeter of the speaker, which provides good 360-degree audibility. The Middleton supports Bluetooth 5.1 and connects audio sources via wire with a 3.5mm audio jack.

The device is equipped with a 9600 mAh battery, which provides a battery life of about 20 hours. It will take 4.5 hours to fully charge the speaker, and 20 minutes of charging will allow you to play music for 2 hours at medium volume. The speaker can also be used as an external charger for smartphones.

On top of the case is a joystick to control playback and volume. The company has also added buttons to control treble and bass. The Middleton can be stacked with another Marshall speaker and connected to a proprietary app for more fine-tuning the EQ.

The device is on sale now and will cost $300. First shipments are scheduled for February 8, 2022.
