Intel has opened a virtual museum of the history of the development of its technologies

Intel announced the opening of a virtual museum, the exposition of which is dedicated to more than half a century of the company's history. Also, "visitors" have access to a three-dimensional model of a chip manufacturing plant.

Intel worked on creating the 3D space with the Google Street View team, who visited the company's real-life museum in Santa Clara.

During a tour of the virtual museum, additional information is available at certain points: text, video, 3D models and links. The actual Intel museum is currently "temporarily closed" so only the 3D version can be visited.
