The Komodo dragons diet is wide-ranging, and includes invertebrates, other reptiles (including smaller Komodo dragons), birds, bird eggs, small mammals, monkeys, wild boar, goats, deer, horses, and water buffalo. They known for their deadly venom packed with toxins that cause drops in blood pressure, massive bleeding and ultimately shock, komodo dragons are carnivorous and are attracted to all kinds of meat. Their powerful jaws and neck muscles allow them to eat 80 percent of their body weight in a single feeding. A Komodo dragon, one of the most dangerous reptiles on the planet, was captured on video in Indonesia eating an entire monkey. The crocodiles are stealthy predators and insight fear around the world. A crocodile lives a semi aquatic lifestyle and hunts in water, sitting and waiting to ambush their prey. Crocodiles hunt by stealthily stalking their prey from water. Some species ambush their prey as they drink from the water’s edge or bath. Many species are able to kill and eat large mammals such as zebras, wildebeests and humans. Once it has caught its prey, a crocodile will then drag it into the water and drown it. Crocodiles will clamp down on their prey with their massive jaws, crush it. It eats its prey by biting off large chunks of meat and swallows them whole. They do not have the capability to chew or break off small pieces of food like other animals. They have the strongest bite of any animal. Large crocodiles can bite down with a force of over 5000 pounds per square inch. But, even those powerful jaws dont work against hippos. Crocs live together somewhat peaceably with hippos is because hippos dont eat meat and crocs usually understand its foolhardy to attempt to attack an adult hippo. Adults hippo are, on average, highly territorial and highly anticipated. Put together, this makes them one of the most dangerous animals in the world. Adult males average 1500 kg, which is three times more than crock. They equip themselves with a very severe bite, not to mention the very thick skin that the crocodile will fight to enter. A hippo can open mouths wider than any animal on the planet, that is 150 degrees, except Anaconda. Their teeth are sharp and long. They really don’t have the ability to bite a crook, but they can still do a lot of damage with their long teeth. Hippo Hyde or skin puncture is very hard. Hippos are extremely regional and powerful. They can easily grind a small crocodile into their jaws. The crocodile avoids the collision of the hippos for this reason. Also, hippos are usually teammates and if a crocodile goes in the wrong between them, the chances of survival are very low. Nile crocodiles and African lions are bitter enemies because of dietary overlap, which undoubtedly results in intense competition. Hence, whenever they meet over an animal carcass along the river bank, it’s an all out war. On land, crocs are stiff and sluggish because of their bulk (in contrast with being super fast in the water), which makes them very likely to be vulnerable to lion attacks. However, there are numerous times in which the lion’s sharp teeth and claws cannot land a fatal blow on the croc’s thick armor, which results in the two contestants being evenly matched. The reptile cannot kill a lion either because it’s too fast and stealthy, or because it has numbers, and the big cat cannot kill a croc since the latter is protected by its impenetrable exoskeleton. In the water, on the other hand, the croc makes short work in killing a swimming lion. Crocodiles will prey on lions if they can ambush the surprised lions. Crocodiles mouth is wide enough to deliver a fatal bite with massive bite force of all animal kingdom to the head of the lion rendering it defenseless. Even if a croc gets a proper grip, it can drown a lion and then perform the death-roll, which not only shatters the bones, but tears the muscles apart. Lions and buffaloes are ancestral enemies, since the buffalo has always been the most sought-after prey by the lions, because, with a specimen, they can also feed the most numerous herds. But buffalo hunting is not so simple for lions, the buffalo, in fact, has an impressive size and its large curved horns inspire a certain fear, the force that it emanates when attacking is incredible, moreover it is a very brave animal. The buffaloes herd also defends its members, so if a specimen is attacked by one or more predators, the buffaloes react and go to counterattack, and it is not uncommon to see the lions being driven away by these large herbivores. This is the reason why the lions, usually, look for an isolated member of the group, or try to isolate it, creating diversified actions in order to trigger the panic in the herd and a disorderly escape, that opens the group allowing a better attack. Even when they can find an isolated buffalo, the success of the hunt is not guaranteed, and often the battle lasts a long time, sometimes hours. The lions jump on the back of the buffalo to get it tired and in the meantime trying to make it stumble, biting its hind legs, sometimes they are lucky and manage to sever the tendons of the prey preventing it from escaping. But this is almost always not enough, the buffalo has a huge power and could carry the lions on the back until it reaches the herd and gets to safety, a sort of rodeo with lions in the role of cow boys. The lions kill their prey by suffocation or strangulation, to do this they have two actions they can do, first, take the victim by the neck and cut the carotid artery, or close its nose with the jaws to suffocate it. That said it sounds simple but try to put yourself in front of an angry buffalo and try to catch it by the throat. It is not something for everyone and only the most expert lionesses have the courage and the timing to carry out such an undertaking. If a male lion participates in the hunt, this often succeeds, with its weight, to unbalance the buffalo and drop it, once on the ground things are a little simpler for the herd of lions. The statistics say that the lions are disadvantaged in the fight against the buffaloes and that only a hunt out of 7 is successful.
