Users have started to complain that the Discord app running slows down Nvidia graphics cards. The company said that they are aware of the bug and are already working on a patch, but for now users have been recommended a temporary solution to the problem.

Owners of Nvidia graphics gas pedals have noticed that the Discord application running reduces the frequency of video card memory by several hundred MHz. Judging from forum posts, the specific frequency drop depends on the graphics card series, but can range from 200 to 900 MHz.
Nvidia representatives confirmed that the bug does in fact exist and the company is already working on fixing it. The company did not say exactly which graphics gas pedals are affected by the bug, but users are mainly complaining about the RTX 2000 and RTX 3000.
Along with this, Nvidia has published detailed instructions with a temporary solution to the problem. The company recommends making changes to the GeForce 3D profile yourself.
