How loud is Corsair K100?
I don't know what keyboard these other people are talking about. This keyboard has no "clicks" like the Cherry MX Blue switches. It seems quite comparable to Cherry MX Speed or MX Red keyboards. The noise it makes comes from touching the bottom of the keys. They're hollow, so there's sort of a snap of you touching the keys, but it's the same as all other mechanical keyboards that don't have the O-ring treatment to dampen the sound of the keys hitting the bottom. of their trip. It's slightly louder because the keys don't fit into a recessed well like some mechanical keyboards do, but it's also slightly quieter with optical switches because the keys have a shorter travel (more dependent on the way you type, and I find that I can type on this keyboard quieter than my other mechanical keyboards if I try, but still adapt to the difference with all the other Cherry MX keyboards I have).
These have double click PBT keyboards, so they sound slightly different from the cheaper keyboards that have many mechanical keyboards, but that's a difference in sound, not volume. It's significantly louder than cheap keyboards with rubber dome switches.
