Built-in constants in Python

Python Methods and Functions

The standard constants provided by the interpreter are listed and described here.

There are a small number of constants available by default.

Constants such as None (starting with py2.4), __debug__ (starting with py2.7), False and True (starting with + py3.0) can be considered true constants, since it will not be possible to assign a custom value to these names (an attempt to assign will call SyntaxError ).
