Robotics experts Boston Dynamics have shared a festive video featuring Spot, a four-legged robot that looks like a dog.

"We hope you have an uplifting festive season!" - says the robotics team in a message accompanying the 90-second video. The company added that "Spot was remotely controlled by professional operators, don't try to replicate this at home."
The video shows Spot 1 carrying a large red bow, which it wants to hang on top of a Christmas tree. But even fully extended and using his robotic arm, he can't reach that high.
In come Spot 2 and Spot 3, who line up into a kind of platform, on which Spot 1 climbs. The robot then uses its hand to grab the bow before carefully placing it on top of the tree.
It's a curious demonstration of Spot's versatility, and a disturbing example of how robots can work together to achieve a goal. But anyone wary of a machine revolt should definitely watch the whole video - in the finale, the robot falls off the backs of its 'comrades'.
