AAEON has announced de next-TGU8 and de next-V2K8 single board computers. These PCs are built on two hardware platforms - Intel and AMD. As with analogues from the Raspberry Pi company, devices the size of a bank card. The developers claim that their PCs are suitable for creating devices with edge applications, robotics, drones and similar things.

The de next-TGU8 computer uses a Tiger Lake chip with several solutions: Core i3-1115G4E, Core i5-1145G7E or Core i7-1185G7E, all with integrated graphics from Intel. The TDP indicator in all three variants is declared 15 watts.
The PC de next-V2K8 is equipped with Ryzen Embedded V2000 series processors in two versions: Ryzen Embedded V2516 chip and Ryzen Embedded V2718 chip with Radeon RX Vega graphics. The TDP value for these solutions is the same -15 W.
The dimensions of the devices are 84 × 55 mm, the declared operating temperature range is from 0 to +60 °C.
All solutions (both with Intel and AMD) can be equipped with up to 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, they provide a SATA port for storage and an M.2 connector (M-Key 2280) for NVMe SSD with PCIe 3.0 interface. Provided connectors: two 1GbE network ports (RJ-45), two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, HDMI 1.4b port with support for 4Kp30 output. In addition, eDP, two RS232/422/485 serial ports, and four USB 2.0 ports can be used via on-board connectors. How much the device will cost has not yet been specified.
