Who We Are:
The software developer will be part of the Allegro IT team and support the development the long-term roadmap of Allegro Health & Wellness digital products in alignment with our strategic focus in health systems. This individual will also be responsible for following ITIL and agile practices and product delivery through advanced agile methodologies.
This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Responsibilities
- Implement solutions that meet Allegro business requirements to deliver business value by enabling rapid innovation through modern software development and delivery.
- Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
- Seek out ways to utilize open standards and open-source frameworks for microservices architecture to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.
- Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.
Skills:
- SOLID understanding of and detailed experience with object oriented based design pattens, microservices architecture and frameworks, and event driven design.
- Experience with SQL database development, Visual Basic, Python, and an overall grasp of programming fundamentals
- Experience using continuous integration capabilities GIT, Atlassian Bitbucket Pipelines, Docker containers).
- Strong understanding of relational databases.
- Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field
- 2 years of experience implementing software solutions (Visual Basic, Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience integrating with MuleSoft, other ESB or enterprise integration framework.
- Experience in application migration to AWS cloud using refactoring, rearchitecting and re-platforming approach.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in authoring project documentation for IT business projects: business requirements, design documents, technical specifications, test plans and test scripts.

Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).

The salary range for this position is 65,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
