Candidate will be responsible for the implementation of business solutions across PBMRT.
The role requires significant contributions to the design, development and completion of project deliverables.
The role will be responsible for researching and designing solutions for work defined in our global project portfolio
and seeing that these designs meet requirements, are approved by our business partners,
and are communicated to the development team to the point where they can be coded, and tested and integrated into our platform.
Additional responsibilities include:
Work with business users to prioritize work items
Analyse and understand existing data, job flows, and components
Assist in investigating production issues and provide solutions
Provide Recommendation for new solutions to existing problems or challenges
Work with multiple teams in different locations and time zones
Document solutions to issues and business and testing requirements using JIRA
Excellent verbal and written communications, comfortable working with different levels of management, high attention to detail
Sense of ownership and personally vested in success of the project
Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet extremely tight deadlines
Must have experience participating in large or complex projects
Must be proficient in data management to include strong data analytical capability
Must be able to engage and leverage teams and business partners to efficiently deliver business solutions
Must have application experience such as Python, RDBMS, SQL. Quartz platform experience is a big plus
Minimum 10-12 years of progressive experience in the banking industry
Financial products experience is required. OTC is a plus, Risk knowledge is a big plus.

Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. At this level, specializations start to form in either Architecture, Test Engineering or DevOp. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Designs/develops/modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained. Designs/develops/maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance). Sets up and develops a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline. Automates manual release activities. Mentors other Software Engineers and coaches team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack. Individual contributor.
